Reno

Reno is our beloved French Bulldog and the unofficial mascot of Refreshing Waters Counseling. With his signature waddle, expressive eyes, and a personality that fills the room, Reno brings warmth, comfort, comedy, and the occasional snoring to every session he attends.

Born to entertain, Reno has a natural gift for lifting spirits—whether he’s lying on his back like a flipped-over turtle, dramatically sighing, or giving you the classic “prince of the side eye” look that says “I see everything.” He seems to know exactly when someone needs a dose of joy, offering gentle companionship and an uncanny ability to make people smile, even on tough days.

Though small in size, Reno has a big presence. He’s part emotional support, part comic relief, and 100% loved by the RWCC team and clients alike. Whether curled up nearby or proudly waddling through the office, Reno reminds us that healing doesn’t always come in words—sometimes it shows up in fur, four paws, and a perfectly timed snort of agreement.
