Tyson Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a calm, steady presence and a deeply rooted Christian faith. He believes healing happens best in safe, grace-filled spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported. Tyson approaches therapy with gentleness and a sincere commitment to walking alongside through life’s most challenging seasons.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, identity concerns, relationship struggles, or sexual addiction, Tyson offers guidance that integrates practical tools with Evidence Based Practices. He sees each person as uniquely created by God, with a purpose worth pursuing and a story worth redeeming. His therapeutic style is collaborative and encouraging, helping people explore difficult emotions, clarify their values, and find peace in both their minds and hearts.
Tyson is especially passionate about supporting marriages, men’s issues, and those working through damaged self-esteem. He understands the tension of wanting to grow emotionally while strengthening the relationships close to you.
Tyson brings humility and depth to his work, and clients often describe him as approachable and genuinely invested in their growth.
Outside the therapy room, Tyson is deeply connected to the outdoors and committed to conservation through activities like hunting, fishing and foraging. He cherishes time spent in nature, whether sitting by a creek or on an annual fishing trip to Alaska, his “second home”. He and his wife of 15 years, Elaine, love exploring new places together (Barbados and Norway are next!) and have built a life in Ann Arbor with their two sons.
